Quantum Wind Power Corp. is proud to announce the Model 50 Wind Turbine, artistically designed by Steve Orzel.  The Model 50 Wind Turbine has a 25’ blade, and a 50’ diameter.

Depending on wind, the height will be 60’ to 80’ to center of the hub. The Turbine is direct coupled to a TorsionTec generator, producing 50 kW in 10 m/s (22 mph) wind, enough power for 15 to 20, three bedroom homes with additional power sold back to the grid...

QUANTUM WIND POWER CORPORATION/CANADA unveiled the look of its new production Model 5 Horizontal Axis Wind Turbine (HAWT) developed in British Columbia, Canada.

The 5 meter diameter turbine has been designed and prototyped and is in the testing phase of its development, producing up to 5 kW in 22 mph (10m/s) winds. The unit utilizes a low speed direct drive TorsionTec generator system, and comes complete with a 6000 Watt Grid-Tie solar ready net-metering inverter, which can also be used in off grid applications...
