Model 50 HAWT Production Model

Quantum Wind Power Corp. is proud to announce the Development of the 50 Kilowatt Wind Turbine and will be the first of the Freedom Series turbines, artistically designed by Steve Orzel. This 50 Kilowatt Wind Turbine will be the world's first totally functional universal wind turbine and come in four (4) models - (1) Water pumping (2) On grid net-metering solar ready (3) Off grid solar ready (4) direct grid tie. Note: Water pumping option available on all turbines except direct grid-tie (synchronized to the grid). This wind turbine will have a 23.7 foot blade, and have a rotor diameter of 50 feet.
Depending on available wind resources, the height will be 60' to 80' to center of the hub. The Turbine is direct coupled to a Direct-Drive PMG generator, producing 50 kW in 10 m/s (22 mph) wind, enough power for 15 to 20, three bedroom homes with additional power sold back to the grid. This turbine, in most cases, is the largest turbine allowed to net-meter in North America.

QUANTUM WIND POWER CORPORATION/CANADA/USA unveiled the look of its new production 5 kilowatt Horizontal Axis Wind Turbine (HAWT) developed in British Columbia, Canada.
Model 5 Horizontal Axis Wind Turbine
The 5 meter diameter turbine has been designed and prototyped and is in the testing phase of its development, producing up to 5 kW in 22 mph (10m/s) winds. The unit utilizes a low speed direct drive PMG low speed generator system, and comes in four (4) models complete with a 6000 Watt Grid-Tie solar ready net-metering inverter, which can also be used in off grid applications.
